SVQ Raffle Quilt
Our beautiful SVQ Raffle Quilt has been traveling. Here it is at the Grand and Glorious Yard Sale in Oneonta on Saturday September 10. Volunteers Jean Kohler, Maria Meyer, Jackie Leahy, Mary Brodzinsky and Phyllis Gunther sold $200 in raffle tickets that day! The raffle quilt also was shown at Old Franklin Day, and at the local shop hop in October. The drawing will occur at the sew-in on February 17.
Take Back the Night Quilt
We have completed the Take Back the Night quilt for the Violence Intervention Project (VIP). This lovely quilt contains a focal block containing the VIP logo and 150 signature blocks signed by individuals at the Take Bake the Night march on April 12, 2011. It will be used as a banner at future VIP events.
