SVQ Classes

Kathryn Greenwold will be teaching a class called “Investments!” on Saturday, March 10. It will be an all day class. Make a vest that fits you and is totally unique. The pattern is simple and you will learn to alter it to fit. It will be a creative yet useful garment. If you know how to turn on your sewing machine, you can make this garment. Cost is $30 plus the pattern for $8. If there is interest, there will be an Art Quilting talk immediately following the class. The talk will be included with the class or could be a standalone. Please let Flo know that you are interested.

Free motion sewing will be offered with Gretchen Adams, a long-arm quilter. Gretchen has a blog called Needle & Threads which is at the following location: thestitchwitchstudio.blogspot.com. More info will be provided on the class. Class dates will be May 5, May 12 and June 2.

How to quilt that big quilt. Julie will show you how she does it and will have participants sit and work on a quilt so you will get the feel of it. This is not necessarily free motion quilting. The date is yet to be determined.
